Lifting Gear Hire Grows 25 Percent in 2007

June 11, 2008 • Lifting and rigging solution provider Lifting Gear Hire, Bridgeview, Ill., announced that its rental revenue increased 25 percent from 2006 to 2007. The company's total revenue also increased 25 percent, placing them in the rankings of the Top 100 rental companies as listed by Rental Equipment Register magazine. Lifting Gear Hire ranked No. 73 on the publication's charts, moving up the rankings from No. 83 in 2006.

“With the increase in our rental revenue and total revenue, it has allowed us to continue to invest more in the U.S. market by hiring more employees, adding new products, and opening new locations • most recently in Kansas City, Mo.,” said Tony Fiscelli, LGH general manager. “We believe that by continuing to invest in our company, we are really investing in our customer's interests.”

Several factors have contributed to the continued growth of the company, including the continued expansion of sales and distribution force, as well as the growing need to save money in a weakened economy, a company statement said.

“Our customers have made our business what it is today,” explained LGH Sales & Marketing Coordinator, Dan Barton. “We plan to continue expanding our services and equipment line to further accommodate client needs. We hope that by continuing to establish a strong customer-service relationship, our company will continue to build credibility and will continue to move up the ranks as one of the nation's top rental companies.”

Lifting Gear Hire Corporation stocks over 80,000 pieces of lifting equipment available for rental through its locations in the United States, Holland and Germany.
