Lifting Gear Hire Introduces New Safety Administrator

March 30, 2009 – Lifting Gear Hire Corporation, Bridgeview, Ill., has announced the appointment of Douglas Dikun to the position of safety administrator. Dikun will be responsible for continually modifying the company's safety programs to include the most urgent safety trends. Other job functions include internal safety training, safety coordination throughout LGH locations, and customer safety and rigging training.

 

Dikun’s experience includes health, safety and environment. His hands-on experience includes fall protection, scaffolding, forklift, ergonomics, risk analysis, emergency response planning, accident investigation, and OSHA recordkeeping and reporting, among others. He has more than 15 years experience providing OSHA and EPA compliance training along with company safety program development. He is also OSHA trained and certified for both the OSHA 10 and 30-hour construction requirements including OSHA Regulations in 29 CFR 1904, 1910 and 1926.
