Enerpac's SyncLift eliminates manual intervention in lifts, which enhances safety.

December 19, 2007 • Lifting Gear Hire, Bridgeview, Ill., has made available a piece of rental equipment that provides for safe and controlled lifting of large structures. Known as a SyncLift, the innovative product, manufactured by Enerpac, Milwaukee, Wis., uses information to control the lifting, lowering and positioning of any heavy or large structure, including bridges and buildings, regardless of weight distribution.

The computer-operated SyncLift ensures all points are lifted in unison and at the same speed, thereby reducing the danger of bending, twisting and tilting. By eliminating manual intervention in the lifting event, the SyncLift preserves structural integrity, increases the rate of productivity and most importantly, enhances the safety for all those involved.

The SyncLift, featuring a user-friendly touch screen and digital sensors to provide load readouts by lifting point, has up to eight lifting points and is capable of executing anywhere from 1 to 1,000 tons per lifting point, based on the type of cylinders used.

“Lifting Gear continues to expand its rental capabilities by introducing new products,” said Tony Fiscelli, Lifting Gear Hire general manager. “The SyncLift maintains Lifting Gear's status as a leader in the rental of hoisting and jacking equipment.”

Founded in 1970, Lifting Gear Hire is devoted exclusively to the rental, sale and service of lifting, winching and material handling equipment. For more information, visit www.lgh-usa.com.
