Link-Belt Announces Personnel Changes
October 4, 2007 • Lexington, Ky.-based Link-Belt Construction has announced several personnel changes to its parts, marketing and product support departments.
Jeff Schmidt has been named a district service representative to broaden and further strengthen Link-Belt's field service team. Schmidt has a varied background in both the private sector and the U.S. Navy, operating and maintaining heavy equipment. He is a certified crane operator, has held supervisory positions in both operations and maintenance, and started and managed his own commercial landscape business. Schmidt resides in
Brian Smoot has been promoted to associate product technician to further expand the factory product support team. His prior work as an assistant service manager in an auto dealership gives him a strong technical background and extensive customer service experience.
Dan Stifle, who has 10 years of experience in all aspects of the warehousing and shipping business, has taken on the position of customer service representative. Susan Miller has been hired as tradeshow coordinator. Miller has more than 20 years of experience planning tradeshows, conventions, and incentive programs. Prior to working at Link-Belt, Miller owned her own business.
