Link-Belt Cranes Announces Product Support Personnel Appointments

February 9, 2009 – Link-Belt Cranes, Lexington, Ky., has announced several changes in product support personnel for the company. Frank Snapp, manager, technical product support, announced the promotion of Joe Staton to product specialist for hydraulic cranes. Staton has been with Link-Belt for 14 years. He worked previously in all areas of assembly including as a team leader and, prior to that, as a mechanic. He has broad experience in both the telescopic and lattice lines.

Snapp also named George Mitchell, Tony Hatton, and Jeff Horan to the position of associate hydraulic crane technician. Mitchell holds two degrees and completed a broad-based, marketing generalist training program with assignments in product support, service training, and manufacturing.

 

Hatton comes to Link-Belt from a large machinery and supply company where he served as a service technician. He completed a broad-based Link-Belt training program.

 

Horan comes via the United States Navy where he served as a weapons control technician and force protection specialist. He also completed a broad-based Link-Belt training program.

 

“These new assignments will add depth and experience to an already-strong customer support team,” said Snapp.
