LPI Parent Names Director of International Sales and Marketing

July 29, 2008 • Eau Claire, Wis.-based Plank Enterprises Inc., parent company of aerial work platform manufacturer LPI Inc., has selected John Konkel as its director of international sales and marketing. He will be responsible for overseeing strategic planning and enhancing international development for LPI's personnel lifts and aerial work platforms.

 

Since 1998 Konkel served as an independent consultant for the Wisconsin Department of Commerce, International Division, where he assisted companies in international export. His business experience also includes working with Fortune 500 and Japanese joint venture companies, implementing product development throughout South America and Europe, and managing and strategic planning for global manufacturers. Konkel graduated with master's degrees in physics and management from Purdue University.  He currently resides in Eau Claire, Wis.
