Mack Trucks introduced two new technologies for its vocational truck lineup at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026: the CommandView situational awareness system and the BodyLink IV chassis-to-body electrical integration system.
Both technologies were announced in Las Vegas during the show, which runs March 3–7 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
CommandView is a suite of onboard technologies designed to improve visibility, safety and operational awareness in complex jobsite environments. The system will be available for order on the Mack Granite model beginning in late 2027.
“Mack customers told us about the many challenges they face when on a jobsite, whether they’re blind spot issues or just maneuvering around other vehicles and objects,” said Nicole Portello, senior vice president and Chief Digital Officer of Mack Trucks. “Every job site comes with a different set of challenges. We listened to customer input, and we’re now delivering technology that helps improve safety and productivity through CommandView – setting the stage for what’s next in connected vehicle technology.”
CommandView integrates a 360-degree camera system that combines multiple camera feeds into a single bird’s-eye view display to improve visibility around the truck. Angled side-view cameras activated by turn signals help enhance lateral visibility during lane changes and turning.
The system can also provide auditory and visual alerts when people or objects are detected within certain ranges. Event-based video recordings can be triggered automatically or manually and stored in the cloud.
Mack piloted the system in early 2025 with CRH, a Mack customer and building materials provider.
“Safety is the No. 1 priority at CRH,” said Sam Dougherty, fleet manager of the Mid-South Region’s Architectural Product Group. “When we want to innovate in safety, we want it to actually make a difference.
“We want impactful safety measures. Any tool that we can give our drivers to be more safe, that’s a win. Mack has been the vocational truck of choice. It’s more than just selling us a truck. We rely on them to keep our fleet going.”
CommandView also includes an onboard weighing system compatible with all axle configurations that provides real-time load data to help operators manage payloads and avoid weight non-compliance.
“Safety, uptime and predictability are central to the success of our customers’ businesses,” said Ashish Sadhu, Mack director of services. “CommandView supports our customers’ needs by pairing intelligent sensing with intuitive driver-centric design.”
Mack also introduced the BodyLink IV chassis-to-body electrical integration system for the Mack Granite model.

BodyLink IV is designed to improve integration between the truck chassis and installed bodies or equipment. The system includes prewiring, programmable switches and dedicated connectors intended to simplify installation and improve integration quality.
“BodyLink IV is designed to make body installation simpler, safer and faster for body builders and fleet technicians,” said Tim Wrinkle, Mack vice president of vocational and medium-duty products. “When our customers save time, they save money, so knowing this we engineered this enhanced system.”
BodyLink IV features include:
“BodyLink IV offers more flexibility and deeper control,” said Alex Lee, Mack senior product manager for vocational and medium duty. “Technicians can quickly check and customize settings, set up custom safety parameters and create templates that keep every truck in a fleet consistent. It’s easy to use and built to keep trucks reliably working.”
