Manitex Adds to its Truck-Mounted Crane Line

March 8, 2016 - Manitex Inc., Georgetown, Texas, has added the Model 30112S to its TC line of truck-mounted cranes. The TC300 series incorporates a new deluxe cab capable of inclining up to 20° for optimal operator comfort. 

 

The inclining cab is ideal for lifting on multi-level building rooftops, and in roofing, HVAC, and truss-setting applications. It is designed to reduce operator fatigue. The new cab offering features18 ins. of extended leg room and additional storage behind the operator’s seat.  

 

Standard features include heated seat and diesel heater; four single-axis low-effort pilot operated hydraulic controls; Hirschmann I-Scale Load moment indicator; 12-volt DC outlet, USB port, and cup holder; E-coat cab finish that protects against corrosion; rear pop-out window; top-hinged window with wiper/washer and hatch guard; windshield wiper with spray nozzle and pump; and view of engine parameters from main display. Options include air conditioning, video camera(s), and a weather-band radio.

 

The 30112 has a 30-ton maximum lift capacity and main booming lifting height of 122 ft. The crane’s maximum tip height of 167 ft., with the optional two-piece 26- to 46-ft. jib. Radio remote-controlled outriggers allow for quick one-person setup and operation.
