November 7, 2007 • Manitou North America, Waco, Texas, announces it has replaced the Manitransit TMT 315 truck-mounted telescopic forklift with the new 4,400-pound capacity Model TMT 45. The TMT 45 features a maximum lift height of 129 inches and a 54-inch maximum forward reach.

Compared to its predecessor, the TMT 45 incorporates outriggers to improve lifting capacity, a lower center of gravity, larger tires for more rough-terrain applications, LED lights, and a stronger frame. The redesigned fiberglass hood is lower and more rounded, and the unit has a wider cab compartment with a new operator-friendly joystick. An optional long boom is also available to access all loads from one side of the trailer.

Powered by a 25-hp Kubota D1105E diesel engine, the TMT 45 features a hydrostatic transmission and 6.2 mph maximum travel speed. The unit measures 85 inches tall, 115 inches long without forks, and 96 inches wide. Outside turning radius is 103 inches.
