September 28, 2007 • Manitowoc Crane Group, Manitowoc, Wis., has named Tim Martin as the new sales and marketing manager for Manitowoc Crane CARE's EnCORE product. EnCORE offers repair and rebuild services for both Manitowoc Crane Group products and aftermarket parts. All EnCORE products come with full warranty.
In his new position, Martin will report to Keith Crider, director of customer service for Manitowoc Crane CARE in the Americas. His duties will include developing new business, pursuing new opportunities, and quality control.
Crider said Martin would help raise awareness of the many options provided by EnCORE. “Our customers know that the Manitowoc name stands for quality products and yet the rebuild or repair option is often overlooked as an option in today's marketplace,” he said. “Tim's role is to raise awareness among our customers to the additional productivity and profitability that EnCORE offers. He brings a wealth of experience in the aftermarket business to this new role, and we're delighted to have him as a part of our team.”
Prior to joining Manitowoc, Martin was a sales and marketing manager for Komatsu Remanufacturing. He also worked at a Caterpillar dealership in the Midwest.
