Manitowoc to Stop Building National Knucklebooms
September 30, 2008 • Manitowoc, Manitowoc, Wis., confirmed that it will cease production of its National Crane articulating boom trucks at the end of 2008. According to a company representative, discontinuing production of the National articulating cranes was “simply a management decision related to market positioning.” The company has not relayed any plans to sell off the product line.
