October 28, 2014 - To serve Mexico's growing petrochemical industry, Grúas Villarreal has taken delivery of a 182-ton Manitowoc MLC165 crawler crane. The machine was purchased by the rental company at ConExpo.
Grúas Villarreal owns about 30 Manitowoc mobile cranes. The company also ordered a 660-ton capacity Manitowoc 18000 crawler crane.
For its other purchase, the company’s new Manitowoc 18000 crawler crane will be used on the reconfiguration and construction of Pemex refineries across Mexico. Pemex, or Petróleos Mexicanos, is Mexico’s government-owned oil company.
