MAXAM Tire has introduced the MSV01 PRO, a new crane tire designed for equipment operating in both highway and off-the-road environments. The company announced the launch on February 10, 2026, from its Danvers, Massachusetts, location.

The MSV01 PRO is built with a TBR-style casing and a closed-shoulder tread configuration intended to support durability and handling performance across mixed operating conditions. The tire is F-speed rated, allowing for travel speeds up to 50 miles per hour (80 kilometers per hour), which supports crane movement between job sites on public roadways.

According to MAXAM Tire, the tread design was developed to reduce road noise and vibration during transport, with the goal of improving operator comfort over long distances. The closed-shoulder design is intended to enhance steering responsiveness and fuel efficiency on pavement, while the deep tread depth and aggressive lug pattern are designed to provide traction in wet or soft ground conditions.

“With the MSV01, we’re expanding our commitment to deliver purpose-built solutions for specialty equipment,” said Jimmy McDonnel, VP of sales and marketing at MAXAM Tire. “This tire was engineered based on direct feedback from crane operators and fleet owners who needed more reliability both on the highway and in off-the-road environments. The MSV01 delivers the comfort, stability and traction performance that today’s demanding job sites require, while reducing downtime and improving operational efficiency.”

The MSV01 PRO is available in several sizes to accommodate a range of crane applications, including 14.00R24 (385/95R24), 14.00R25 (385/95R25), 16.00R25 (445/95R25) and 20.5R25 (525/80R25), with overall diameters ranging from approximately 53.5 inches to 58.6 inches, depending on size.

MAXAM Tire said the MSV01 PRO reflects its continued focus on tire engineering for specialty equipment applications that require both on-road mobility and off-road capability. Additional product information is available through MAXAM Tire representatives and the company’s website.
