Maxim Crane Works Elects New Chairman of the Board

June 22, 2007 • Maxim Crane Works Holdings, Inc., Pittsburgh, Pa., announced this week that its board of directors has elected Jack McGovern as its chairman of the board. McGovern replaces Bill Redmond, who served as chairman since February 2005. Redmond resigned from the board due to other business commitments.

In January 2005, McGovern became a director of Maxim Crane Works and served as chairman of the audit committee. Although he will continue to be a member of the audit committee, Todd Robinson has assumed the role of chairman.

In addition to Maxim, McGovern serves on the board of directors of GenTek, Inc., Neenah Paper, Inc., and Payless Shoes Source, Inc. He is also a founder and partner of Aurora Capital, LLC, and previously held several positions with Georgia-Pacific Corp.
