Maxim Crane Names New Chief Human Resource Officer

May 25, 2022 - Maxim Crane Works L.P., has named Sonja Narcisse as chief human resource officer, responsible for leading centralized human resources for Maxim’s nationwide organization.

“Sonja will be a critical partner in achieving Maxim Crane’s growth strategy,” said Paul McDonnell, chief executive officer at Maxim Crane Works. “Her expertise and track record in driving complex change in organizations, combined with her commitment to people and passion for creating a high-performance culture, will serve us well as the employer and service provider of choice for the industry.”

A leader in human resources for more than three decades, Narcisse most recently served as senior vice president of human resources at a private equity company in the pet care industry.

She previously had been senior vice president of human resources and chief human resource officers officer at Tronox and vice president of human resources for Heinz North America.

Narcisse also was group vice president of human resources for Alcoa and spent 22 years with Weyerhaeuser.

Heavily involved in her community, Narcisse has served on the H.J. Heinz Company Foundation boards, the Stamford Museum and Nature Center, and the Yale-New Haven Bridgeport Hospital Foundation board of directors. She is currently on the board of directors for Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo and the Sawubona Foundation for Mental Health.
