Maxim Crane’s Maxim Marketplace Sells Used Equipment Online

Dec. 13, 2022 - Maxim Crane Works L.P. now sells used equipment on its recently launched digital marketplace, Maxim Marketplace.

 

With hundreds of fleet-owned cranes and support equipment to sell, the U.S. rental giant is refreshing its fleet through its own online used equipment sales platform, developed in partnership with Krank.

Maxim Marketplace offers cranes and support equipment from major manufacturers and asset classes.

Crane types include all-terrain, crawler, hydraulic-truck, rough-terrain, carry-deck, boom-truck, and tower, all available for delivery in the U.S. or internationally.

Support equipment includes tractors and trailers, service pick-ups, etc.

“At Maxim, we have the inventory, we have the expertise, and now we have an exciting tech platform in the Maxim Marketplace to take our equipment sales to the next level,” said David Tobón, the company’s fleet sales director. “Prospective buyers will be able to buy direct from Maxim Crane and feel confident that they are making a good deal, along with the reassurance of Maxim’s reputation for quality cranes and equipment maintained by the industry’s top professional service teams.”

Market Gamechanger

Maxim Marketplace is as much a social networking tool as it is a selling platform.

The platform’s architecture lets Maxim employees and their collective business networks to connect with Maxim directly in the platform, building a single community and increasing the collective selling power of the organization.

“We see Maxim Marketplace as an incredible tool to help us sell our used equipment and further increase our position as an innovative leader in the crane industry,” Tobón said.

The site features high-quality photos of used machines for sale and makes connecting with the sales professionals seamless.

Future capabilities will include video walkarounds, live chats, and private online auctions.
