MEC Adds Sales, Product Development Team Members

Rob Hime
August 27, 2008 • MEC Aerial Work Platforms, Selma, Calif., announces Rob Hime has joined the company's sales team, and Gary Crook has been named director of new product development.

Hime has more than 25 years of construction-related sales experience, including 12 years in the aerial lift industry. His territory includes Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.

“I am excited to join MEC," Hime said. "Selling MEC products is going to be fun....  As a matter of fact, the first scissor lift I ever sold was a MEC Hefty Herman 21 years ago."

Gary Crook

Crook also has a long history in aerial lift product development, including more than 10 years with UpRight and three years with JLG. “In this role, Gary will be instrumental in determining strategic direction and success of our upcoming new products,” said David White, president of MEC.

Crook added he plans to carry the company's proven quality and reliability forward into new products, including a new line of articulating boom lifts.
