Metrolift Executive Named Illinois Equipment Distributors President

February 24, 2009 – Rick Dahl, president of Sugar Grove, Ill.-based Metrolift, has been named the Illinois Equipment Distributors 2009 president. Dahl has been in the aerial lift business for 21 years, 16 of which he has served as president and CEO of Metrolift.

 

“I am looking forward to serving as IED president this year,” Dahl said. “Our theme for IED this year is awareness. We want to keep all our members informed about environmental, political and IT opportunities in 2009.”

 

Dahl has served as the organization’s vice president in 2008 and treasurer in 2007. He will continue on with the momentum that was set by Bob Jones, 2008 president.

 

Other new officers include Casey Equipment’s Jim Cox, vice president; West Side Tractor Sales’ Steve Dillon, treasurer; E TIP Inc.’s Hugh Goulding, executive secretary; S.E.S. Inc’s Bob Jones, first-year director; Ditch Witch Midwest’s Mark Harbaugh, second-year director; and Construction Equipment Guide’s Joe McKeon, associate director.

 

“We have a great team this year. We are here to help facilitate more growth for IED and its members,” said Dahl
