MLE Offers High-Capacity Battery Option for EX Scissor Lifts

January 31, 2008 • Man & Material Lift Engineering, Cudahy, Wis., now offers a high-capacity battery as an option for its EX Series of scissor lifts. After an aircraft manufacturer recently requested a method to provide significantly more battery life for multi-shift operation during its painting process, MLE responded with a high-capacity 420 amp-hour battery option that almost doubles the life of the current machine.

The battery is conveniently located at the back of the lift to provide accessibility and ease of maintenance. A 40-amp charger was also installed to provide the powerful quick-charge capacity.

 

The battery is available for the 2046EX, 2646EX, and 3246EX models of scissor lifts.
