Modulift Expands U.S. Distribution

August 20, 2008 • As part of its global expansion plans, Modulift has announced that Cableco-American Rigging is now an exclusive distributor for the West Coast, providing customers with fast delivery and direct local contacts with a company that deals with all aspects of below the hook rigging.

With rising steel and oil prices, the ability to have a light, reusable, flexible modular system that can be loaded on to standard transportation is an attractive option to those looking to save money over a number of lifts.

As previously announced, Modulift has expanded its U.S. operations with the launch of sister company, Modulift Inc. Modulift Inc. recently said it is continuing with its planned growth despite talk of a recession. Pittsburg, Pa.-based Modulift Inc. is part of the company's strategy to continue to expand an increasing U.S. customer base and meet the demands of the American lifting industries.

 

The entire range of spreaders will now be manufactured and distributed within the U.S., eliminating the need for them to be imported from the U.K., according to Nick Latham, chairman of Modulift.
