Morrow Equipment Announces Executive Leadership Changes

September 21, 2026 - Morrow Equipment Company, L.L.C., headquartered in Salem, Oregon, has announced executive management changes following President and Chief Operating Officer Peter Juhren’s decision to retire at the end of 2026.

Juhren has spent 46 years with Morrow and its predecessor companies. He began his career with the company as a service technician in 1980 before moving through service and crane operations positions. He has served as president and COO for the past six years.

Juhren will remain with the company as president emeritus through the end of 2026 to support the leadership transition. The company said he has mentored the team that will succeed him over the past several years.

Mike Heacock, currently vice president of sales, will become president and chief operating officer.

Heacock has more than 30 years of experience in the tower crane industry. He joined Morrow in 2020 after serving as vice president of sales for Manitowoc. Before that, he worked for Coast Crane in Seattle, Washington.

In his new role, Heacock will lead the company with experience in both sales and operations, according to the release.

Cavan Davies, vice president and general counsel, will become chief administrative officer. Davies will oversee the company's administrative functions, including human resources, insurance, and risk management, while continuing to oversee legal and contract administration. He joined Morrow in 2020 after working in private legal practice.

Andrew Stalter, business development manager, will become vice president of sales. Stalter will work with Heacock on the company's sales and marketing activities.

Before joining Morrow, Stalter served as sales and service manager for Liebherr USA for North and South America. He helped develop new markets for the company and will continue to focus on sales growth in his new position.

Chris Smith will continue as vice president of service, leading the company's service efforts as it responds to customer and market demands and expands its product and service offerings. Smith joined Morrow in 2008 and has held training and service management positions before becoming vice president of service.

John Morrow, co-founder of Morrow and its non-executive chairman, credited Juhren with helping develop the company's next generation of management.

Morrow said the leadership changes will take effect as part of the transition following Juhren's retirement at the end of 2026.
