Morrow adds an interactive station to its training center. |
May 5, 2016 - The Morrow Training Center has added an interactive training station to its main classroom. The new station features Liebherr’s AC500 PLC system used in the Litronic tower crane line, which allows maintenance technicians, supervisors and operators to become familiar with the operation of the PLC’s and drives in the system.
The station offers live demonstrations of the main features of this state of the art system, such as work-range limitation, heavy lifting capabilities, capacity reduction, data recording information, and operator display screens.
The addition of this training equipment will provide high-quality, real-world training for everyone using tower cranes in the industry today, according to Morrow.
The company’s training program for the tower crane industry has expanded with the addition of training staff member Ian Chase CHST, CET. Chase’s focus will be on NCCCO preparatory training programs for tower-crane operator, signalperson, and rigger.
He brings a wealth of experience from the construction industry with 24 years of experience as an operator, safety professional, and certified construction safety and health trainer.
