NACB Celebrates 25 Years of Training

December 20, 2010—North American Crane Bureau Inc., Lake Mary, Fla., will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2011. Founded in 1986 by Ted Blanton, Sr., Joe Crispell, and two other partners, the company originally offered crane operator, crane inspector, and rigging safety programs. Today, NACB features a wide variety of industrial lifting courses, covering overhead cranes, mobile cranes, tower cranes, forklifts, aerial work platforms, and rigging. In addition, training methods now incorporate simulators and safety videos, among other methods.

NACB has continued to expand its operations, with facilities in Florida, North Carolina, and Texas. In the future, the company plans to enter two additional regional markets in the United States and continue its expansion into Central and South America, and other world markets.

“Both Joe Crispell and myself have nurtured and watched, as our employees have given NACB name recognition and a reputation which far exceeds any dreams and goals which we might have considered 25 years ago,” said Ted Blanton Sr., president and CEO. “I would like to give my personal thanks to all of our dedicated clients, employees (past and present), as well as, our families who stuck by us through thick and thin.”

“These accomplishments can be directly attributed to our entire staff's steadfast commitment to professionalism, quality, and integrity. These attributes have served us well over the years,” said Joe Crispell, executive vice president of sales and marketing.
