NCSG Acquires H&H Crane Service

November 10, 2014 – NCSG Crane & Heavy Haul Services, Inc., U.S. subsidiary of Canadian-based NCSG Crane & Heavy Haul Corporation (NCSG), has acquired substantially all of the assets of Great Falls, Mont.-based H&H Crane Service Inc.

H&H Crane Service’s parent company, founded in Great Falls, Mont. in 1987 by Tom Harant, is a supplier of fully operated and maintained crane services. As a part of the transaction, Harant has taken an ownership interest in NCSG, and will work with NCSG to grow the crane and heavy-haul services business in the Great Falls region.

NCSG has 700 employees and a fleet of more than 290 cranes, 235 lines of hydraulic platform trailers, 300 conventional trailers and specialized rigging services such as jack & slide and hydraulic gantries. In September, the company acquired Tucker Oilfield Hauling. Last June, NCSG, Northwest Capital Appreciation, and TriWest Capital Partners announced an agreement in which TriWest and Alberta Teachers’ Retirement Fund would a majority interest in NCSG from its existing shareholders.
