NCSG Acquires Tucker Oilfield Hauling

September 3, 2014NCSG Crane & Heavy Haul Corporation has acquired Tucker Oilfield Hauling Ltd., a rigging, lifting, and heavy haul service provider in Alberta.

 

Founded by Richard Tucker in 1994 in Drayton Valley, Cory Crosby bought into the business in 2011.As a part of the transaction, Crosby and Tucker will become investors in NCSG and stay on with the business. Cory and Dick will play an role within NCSG, growing the range of services provided in the Drayton Valley and Calgary markets. 

 

“Cory and Dick have built a great business servicing their upstream, midstream and other customers in Western Canada and we are excited to be adding their deep expertise to our management team and welcome all of the highly skilled Tucker employees”  said Ted Redmond, president of NCSG, “Tucker broadens NCSG’s geographic presence into the Drayton Valley and Edson areas, enabling NCSG to provide local services to customers there and broaden the services Tucker currently offers to include crane and ultra-heavy haul.”

 

"With access to NCSG’s team of 700 employees and NCSG’s fleet of over 285 cranes, 235 lines of hydraulic platform trailers, 300 conventional trailers, and specialized rigging services, such as jack & slide and hydraulic gantries, Tucker will be able to take on larger projects/maintenance jobs and meet even more of our customers' rigging, lifting and heavy haul needs," said Crosby.
