NER to Host Equipment Security Webinar

April 8, 2009 – The National Equipment Register, Jersey City, N.J., will be hosting an equipment security webinar, “The 10 Myths of Equipment Security,” on Monday, May 4, to help share some of the lessons and provide answers to the most frequent questions and concerns raised at NER’s monthly summits.

David Shillingford, president of NER, will debunk common equipment security myths. Other topics on the agenda include how the economic downturn has affected theft trends, what GPS has done, and why customers may have bought stolen equipment without knowing it. Attendees will also hear practical tips on getting law enforcement to work for you.
