NES Grows in Virginia

July 23, 2008 • Aerial equipment rental company NES has moved into a larger, custom-built location in Harrisonburg, Va., in order to expand its presence in area. The new facility sits on four acres of land and is at least 10,000 square feet.

“We just outgrew our old facility,” Allen Gilbert, branch manager, told the Daily News-Record. At this location, about 300 pieces of equipment are available for rent, including boom lifts, scissor lifts, rough-terrain forklifts, industrial forklifts, and a crane. Gilbert said the branch will retain its 13 employees.

At the grand opening on Tuesday, NES displayed its aerial lifts and showed off its Richard Petty Driving Experience NASCAR. According to the Daily News-Record, Harrisonburg Mayor Rodney Eagle performed the expansion's ribbon cutting, and guests mingled around the store's doors and under a white tent that was setup with music and food.
