Grove, founder of Grove Co., now part of the Manitowoc Crane Group, and JLG Industries, is now the subject of a book published by Buchanan Trail Publishing Co., Mercersburg, Pa. Written by Gerry Lute, Grove's nephew and a mechanical engineer who spent most of his career at JLG and Grove, The Life and Legacy of John L. Grove recounts the life and times of the Pennsylvania business man, engineer, and philanthropist.

 

Drawing extensively from his own personal experiences, extensive research, and interviews, Lute chronicles Grove's management abilities, philosophies, and faith that made him one of the most successful entrepreneurs in modern history.
