New Holland North America Unveils Three New Telehandlers

February 19, 2007 • New Holland North America, New Holland, Pa., offers three new telehandlers for the North American construction market • the 6,600-pound M427, the 8,000-pound M428, and the 9,000-pound M459. The M427 features a maximum lift height of 41.8 feet and a 1,200-pound capacity at its 29-foot forward reach. Also with a maximum lift height of 41.8 feet, the M428 has a maximum lift capacity of 1,800 pounds at the 29-foot forward reach. Featuring a maximum lift height of 44.6 feet, the M459 can lift 1,600 pounds at its maximum 30.8-foot forward reach.

 

Each machine features a low-mounted boom design and offers good visibility even when the boom is fully raised. The rounded front profile and the cab's large glass front further increases visibility. A flip-up hood provides easy engine access and fuel fill and fluid checks are at ground level. In the cab, the telehandlers have an adjustable seat, easy-to-read instruments, and single joystick controls.

 

New Holland's M427, M428, and M459 telehandlers each include a power shift transmission with four forward and three reverse gears; two-wheel, four-wheel, and crab steering; and maximum travel speed of 22 mph. They are also backed by a one-year unlimited hour standard warranty.
