Kar-Tech's Pilot series radio transmitter is a modern, ergonomic pistol-grip style transmitter that is tough, easy to work with, and low cost. Rechargeable or replaceable batteries inside provide days of working life and the transmitter has the ability to recharge and control via an optional wire tether. LEDs or a display on the transmitter offer diagnostics at the transmitter, and the hardware allows for advanced logic to be incorporated if necessary.
The transmitter can work at a long range of up to 1,000 feet. Interference is virtually eliminated, and the high-impact transmitter uses all sealed components and silicone-dipped electronics. Advanced electronics allows operators to have machine data in front of them.
Pilot series systems operate between a range of +9 to +40VDC and are protected for voltage spikes and reverse battery. They have an operating temperature range of -40C to +85C.
Typical applications for the transmitter include mobile cranes and telehandlers. Available options include a cigarette lighter or wall charger, one-hour battery charger, and an LCD display for hours, error code and feedback.
