New Manufacturing Head at OEM Fabricators

July 3, 2008 • OEM Fabricators announces that Don Johnson has joined the company's senior management team and will head up manufacturing at its Woodville, Wis., facility. Johnson brings more than 20 years of engineering and manufacturing management experience in the job shop and high-volume production businesses.

 

Previously Johnson has worked at ConAgra Foods, Polymer Recover Systems, Extrusion Dies, and Specor Systems and has held various positions, including design engineer, manufacturing engineer, accelerated process improvement engineer, production supervisor, production manager, and vice president/operations manager. His areas of expertise include ISO 9000, TPM, multiple CAD systems including Solid Works, materials resource planning (MRP) software systems, metal manufacturing processes, production planning and scheduling, purchasing, accounting, and project management.

 

Johnson earned his bachelor's degree in manufacturing management and engineering from University of Wisconsin • Stout.  He has been associated with three business startups and has created and patented products.
