NYC Rigging Contractor’s License Revoked
July 22, 2011—According to a story in the New York Times,
written by John Elgion, New York Department of Buildings Commissioner Robert
LiMandri has revoked the license of the contractor involved in a tower crane
accident that occurred three years ago.
The decision to revoke William Rapetti’s license came in response
to a 28-page report issued by an administrative law judge, who oversaw a
seven-day hearing in December. Rapetti was previously acquitted of all criminal
charges, including manslaughter. Read the New York Times article here.
