Omaha Standard Palfinger Announces Personnel Appointments
September 21, 2015 - Omaha Standard Palfinger (OSP) has appointed Roger Godfrey to the newly-created position of inventory control manager, and announced the return of Rich Gourley to the role of continuous improvement manager.
The role of inventory control manager was established to increase focus on the implementation and sustainability of inventory management improvement activities, reports OSP. Godfrey brings more than 13 years of experience in inventory management and spare-parts operations, and shares an extensive background in SAP. He will report to Jason Holt - VP of operations.
From March 2013 - May 2015, Gourley contributed to implementation of the Palfinger Production Systems (PPS), and led several key Kaizen events as continuous improvement manager. Additionally, he largely supported the growth of OSP's intern program. He will report to Dustin Erdmann, OSP plant manager.
Jason Holt, OSP's VP of operations, comments, "Recent hires of key operations personnel are being put into place to drive significant operational improvements in cost, quality and delivery.” Both men will work out of the company’s manufacturing facility in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
