Omaha Standard-Palfinger Names Liftgate Project Engineer

August 10, 2010 — Kevin Swierczek has been named Project Engineer – Liftgates for Omaha Standard-Palfinger, Council Bluffs, Iowa. Swierczek will be responsible for all engineering design and project management functions pertaining to new product development and integration of MBB Palfinger and Eagle Lift liftgates. He will also provide technical support to production, sales and marketing, and purchasing. During much of his career Swierczek has been integrally involved in translating customer needs into well-defined cost, quality, and delivery requirements. He has an extensive background in manufacturing and mechanical engineering as well as experience in six sigma and lean manufacturing practices.
