Palfinger has announced its PK 1350 TEC and PK 1650 TEC heavy-duty cranes, outfitted with electronic controls and intelligent support systems.
With the architectural landscape scaling new heights and maneuverability becoming increasingly crucial in confined spaces, the demand for precision among crane operators has escalated. The flagship heavy-duty crane, PK 1350 TEC, inclusive of a fly jib, boasts an outreach extending up to 38.7 meters and a lifting capacity of 109.3 metric tons. Similarly, the PK 1650 TEC, with identical outreach capabilities, achieves an impressive lifting capacity of 124.8 metric tons. Facilitating seamless maneuvering, the intelligent PALTRONIC 180 control electronics and LX-6 control valve ensure effortless operation, empowering operators with precise support throughout each task. A notable feature is its dual-circuit hydraulics, ensuring a consistent supply of hydraulic power, thus enabling seamless execution of demanding tasks requiring concurrent functions.
“As a technology leader, Palfinger sets industry standards, always with the aim of using smart and connected solutions to improve the way customers work. The heavy-duty cranes in the TEC range are our latest example. Based on decades of experience and working together with customers and operators, we have created a completely new class of crane that combines the best hardware with smart software,” says Andreas Klauser, CEO of Palfinger.
All TEC models can be integrated with Smart Control, an intelligent crane tip control system that harmonizes crane movements in the background to achieve precise positioning. Additionally, the Memory Position system facilitates the storage of up to four crane positions, while the Leveling Assistant streamlines setup adjustments, reducing time by up to 80%.
