Palfinger North America Begins Expansion

May 7, 2007 • Palfinger North America, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, recently began construction on a 20,000-square-foot assembly shop/warehouse expansion to its headquarters. Construction is scheduled to finish in the third quarter of 2007.

 

Included with the expansion will be a 55-foot-tall testing hall, 3,200-square-foot office facility expansion, a new CNC pipe bending machine and state-of-the-art oil distribution and computer controlled testing facility.

 

“We are very excited about this latest expansion,” said Mark Woody, president of Palfinger North America. “We are confident that these new facilities will allow us to better meet the needs of our customers, dealers and staff.”

 

This expansion will allow Palfinger North America to begin assembly of cranes above 30 metric tons.
