PALFINGER has opened a new North American Parts Distribution Center in Huntley, Illinois, a $15 million investment aimed at reducing downtime and improving service for its dealers and customers across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
The 177,000-square-foot facility is designed to handle up to 75,000 shipments per year. Stocking more than 60,000 spare parts, the center supports PALFINGER’s full product range, including knuckle boom cranes, service cranes, hooklifts, cable hoists and truck-mounted forklifts.
Located near Chicago’s interstate network, O’Hare International Airport and Rockford’s cargo hub, the facility uses an AutoStore robotic system to boost speed and accuracy in order fulfillment.
“Service is a growth driver for PALFINGER, and North America is one of our important markets,” said PALFINGER CEO Andreas Klauser. “The Huntley facility is a major investment in keeping our customers up and running. It’s about speed, reliability and demonstrating our commitment and confidence to this region.”
The center opened in conjunction with the 2025 PALFINGER North America Dealer Conference, which gathered nearly 200 dealers and partners for facility tours, equipment demonstrations and training sessions.
PALFINGER has set a target of doubling global parts and service revenue by 2030 and reaching $1 billion in revenue in North America by the end of the decade.
