Prillaman’s Crane & Rigging Adds Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1

Liebherr delivered an LTM 1250-5.1 mobile crane to Prillaman’s Crane & Rigging, Inc. during CONEXPO 2026, marking the eighth Liebherr unit in the company’s fleet. The delivery reflects an ongoing relationship between the two family-owned companies.

Prillaman’s Crane & Rigging, Inc., founded in 2007 and based in Hampton, Virginia, provides crane rental, rigging and heavy hauling services across Virginia, North Carolina and Maryland. The company supports a range of projects, including industrial, maritime and HVAC applications.

The Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1 is a five-axle mobile crane with a maximum load capacity of 300 tons. The crane is equipped with the VarioBallast system, which allows operators to adjust ballast configurations to suit different jobsite conditions, including work in confined spaces. The crane can also be configured with a range of boom systems to support various lifting requirements.

Additional features include the VarioBase outrigger system, which enables each outrigger to be extended to different lengths to enhance safety and flexibility in restricted areas. The crane also incorporates a single-engine drive concept, in which the superstructure is powered through a mechanical shaft by the engine in the undercarriage, reducing maintenance requirements.

The addition of the LTM 1250-5.1 expands Prillaman’s fleet capabilities as it continues to serve projects across the Mid-Atlantic region.
