Proxibid Names Tom McSweeney Senior Vice President of Sales

December 8, 2015 – Proxibid has named Tom McSweeney as senior vice president of sales. McSweeney’s focus will be on growing Proxibid’s presence in the heavy equipment and industrial machinery markets.

 

McSweeney joins Proxibid from InfoGROUP Inc., where he served as executive vice president of enterprise solutions. He joins Proxibid during a period of rapid growth. The company, which works with more than 3,000 sellers, has added more than 579 customers in the last 18 months, and is poised to grow this roster as product offerings such as its Buy Now and Make Offer tools continue to gain traction. This new tool adds transactional capabilities so inventory listings, allowing dealers, OEMs, and others to turn their businesses into a global, 24x7 sales channel.
