QMC Announces Field Operations Manager

February 3, 2011 – QMC Hydraulic Cranes, Fountain Valley, Calif., announced the addition of David Watkins as field operations manager. Based in Odessa, Texas, Watkins is a key link between QMC's headquarters in California and their Permian Basin customers. Having founded rigging company Watco Inc. in 1980, Watkins has more than three decades of experience in the oil-field service industry.

 

Watkins is currently working on the final details of a Weatherford, Texas, order for QMC's new 7060R truck crane, a unit that can lift the heaviest of pump pads while still allowing for 5 tons of deck payload, according to the company. This year alone, QMC is building cranes for six different oil servicing companies.
