Rayco-Wylie to Offer Rated Capacity Indicator with 10-Inch Display

October 9, 2013 - Rayco-Wylie reports it will offer its i4500 rated capacity indicator with a 10-in. display by the end of the year. Currently, display sizes are 4.3 and 7 in.
Designed for all cranes in the construction and offshore industries, the i4500 offers a more complete integration with the crane and has the ability to monitor advanced operational parameters, such as boom sequencing, outrigger monitoring, range limiting, and wind speed. The system is capable of centralizing safety information, engine data, and camera images on one display. The high-resolution LCD screens are readable in direct sunlight and provide accurate color images.
The i4500 features a 2GB internal memory and 600/800 MHz processor speed. Internally, the computer performs self diagnostics and detects any system malfunctions. The i4500 provides the ability to add inputs/outputs on the CANbus network. New information can be uploaded to the device with a USB drive. No special tools or laptop is required; all calibration is done from the display screen.
