Raymond Adds R&D Team Member

August 27, 2008 • The Raymond Corp., Greene, N.Y., has named Alan Marder as its director of technology solutions. In this role, Marder is responsible for researching, developing, implementing and marketing emerging technologies that will benefit the material-handling industry and collaborating with Raymond dealers and engineers to foster new technological developments.

 

Marder has extensive senior leadership experience in wireless technology and business development. Prior to joining Raymond, he was most recently director of OEM sales for a wireless asset management company. His previous experience includes leadership roles in technology companies that offered remote monitoring products for industrial vehicles and other devices.

 

Marder has a master's degree in education from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, and a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Fla.
