February 21, 2015 - Reach-All LLC, Bradenton, Fla., has added the CraneMate platform mini-crane to its line of work platforms for aerial truck crane applications. The mini-crane is a portable, compact jib boom that mounts on a work platform to improve safety and increase job versatility.
The synergy of an 11-ft. sheave height articulating boom, combined with a 360° worm gear rotation, adds maneuverability for sign lifting, maintenance, and removal. One worker can now accurately lift, position, and install a 500-lb. sign precisely and safely. Features include a 6-ft. reach jib boom with 2-ft. extension section; a hydraulic cylinder that articulates the boom to 80° vertically; a powerful, self-locking 360° worm gear rotation system; a self-contained 12-volt winch with remote control; auxiliary radio remote FOB control for ground override use; removable hardware for easy install and break down; and exterior platform forks which securely hold a sign during crane extension.
Reach-All work platforms are the only systems with hydraulic-powered auto leveling, 180° platform rotation and stow & go features, according to the manufacturer. Applications include signs, utilities, billboards, government, and more.
