Rental Industry Veteran Named President of Allied Crane & Machinery
August 14, 2008 • Allied Crane & Machinery, Mesa, Ariz., announces it has named Louis Womack as its president. Womack is a 30-year rental industry veteran, having worked the last 15 years in various senior management positions with U.S. Rentals and United Rentals. Most recently, he was regional fleet manager for United Rentals.
Allied Crane & Machinery rents, sells, and services boom trucks from 17- to 50-ton capacities. Additionally, the company rents, sells, and services large telehandlers in excess of 20,000-pound capacities and truck-mounted aerial lifts up to 236 feet. Allied focuses on infrastructure and industrial project construction and maintenance of power generation (coal, nuclear, wind, and solar) and power transmission, mining, petrochemical, natural gas distribution, and highway and bridge.
The company currently operates in Arizona, Texas, and Georgia with future expansion planned.
