Runnion Equipment Builds New Facility in Illinois

July 23, 2019 – Runnion Equipment hosted a grand opening celebration on Wednesday, June 26 at their new facility in Hodgkins, Illinois. Over 150 customers and vendors attended the event, including representatives from National Crane, Elliott Equipment, and Dur-A-Lift, as well as Noel B. Cummings, the mayor of Hodgkins.

Facility tours were provided throughout the new 37,400-sq.-ft. building, which accommodates all crane services in-house. The facility includes 17 service bays and a training center for technicians and operators, along with an expanded parts storage and customer service area. There is also an outdoor demonstration space where equipment buyers can try out a new crane before purchasing it and an indoor showroom.

The cranes available at Runnion Equipment include National Crane by Manitowoc, Palfinger knuckle boom loading cranes, and the Epsilon line of cranes from Palfinger. Additional lifting equipment carried are Elliott HiReach telescoping aerial work platforms and Dur-A-Lift telescoping and articulating aerial personnel and material handling lifts.

“This facility has been in planning and progress for several years, so we are very excited to have moved in and begun operations here to be able to better serve our customers.” says Mike Prochot, president at Runnion Equipment.

Pat Runnion, CEO, added, “With this new building, we have a facility that matches our capabilities with room to grow. We will be able to provide faster turnaround times for all services to our customers. We feel very welcome in the Hodgkins community.”
