Safety Expert Scheduled for SC&RA Workshop's Opening Session
July 21, 2008 • The Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association announces that David Sarkus will explain why "Everyone's a Safety Coach" during his opening session presentation at SC&RA's 2008 Crane & Rigging Workshop. The event will be held September 18-20 at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel in Toronto, Ontario. During his presentation, Sarkus will show why everyone has to help one another work at their safest levels possible in order to have lasting personal impact on and off the job.
For more than 20 years, Sarkus has motivated thousands of workers to become safer, healthier, and more productive. As a safety professional, he has won several honors, including a Best Practices Award for TRW Inc. Sarkus is a frequent contributor and featured author for publications such as Professional Safety and Industrial Safety & Hygiene News (ISHN). He also serves as Technical Editor for ISHN. His book, The Safety Coach: Unleash the 7C's for World Class Safety Performance!, has been endorsed by some of most respected professionals in the field of safety.
