Salerno Cranes Purchases Another Goldhofer Axle
June 10, 2014 - Heavy-lift and transport specialist Salerno Cranes of Panama City, and company directors Omar H. Salerno González and Omar Salerno Guerrero, ordered another Goldhofer THP/SL 6 split-combination trailer module at ConExpo 2014 in Las Vegas. This latest acquisition brings Salerno’s Goldhofer fleet to a total of 22 heavy-duty axles.
For its wide-ranging transport operations, the company also employs various accessories, such as low-profile drop decks, spacers, and turntables. “We have 100% confidence in Goldhofer, and the same goes for our customers,” said Salerno González. With the new Goldhofer axle lines, Salerno Cranes are well equipped for further heavy transport work and for the growing demand for heavy-duty and oversized cargo operations with heavier payloads and cargos with higher centers of gravity.
“Salerno ordered the first axles from us three years ago, at Conexpo 2011. A follow-up order at the very next edition of the trade show is naturally good news,” says Rainer Auerbacher, Goldhofer area sales manager heavy-duty modules for South and Central America.
