Sany America Celebrates Despite Weather Warnings

March 3, 2011 – Despite tornado warnings and impending severe weather, local and foreign dignitaries and invited guests celebrated completion of the first phase of construction of Sany America's, Peachtree City, Ga., North American headquarters and assembly building on Feb. 28.

 

The Peachtree City facility will eventually include provisions for assembly of five different types of construction machinery, including the Sany Global rough-terrain crane. It is the first North American-specific product developed through a collaborative design effort between parent company the Sany Group and Sany North America.

 

Besides the RT cranes, the Peachtree City facility will also assemble crawler cranes, excavators, motor graders, concrete pump trucks, and house R&D, sales, service, and distribution operations.
