April 15, 2015 - Leggat Plant in Glasgow, Scotland, has taken delivery of a Terex Explorer 5500 all-terrain crane, the first in the UK. The crane is the seventh Terex in the fleet.
Eddy Donaghy, owner of Leggat Plant, said:: “Our last Terex crane, a Challenger 3160, delivered in September 2013, has proved so successful and enjoyed such a high utilization rate that we had no hesitation in choosing this latest model from Terex.” He added that the cranes maneuverability will make it a solid addition to the fllet.
Founded more than 140 years ago, Leggat Plant is the longest established crane rental company in Scotland. It will use the Explorer for a variety of applications ranging from housing and bridges to demolition and machinery installations.
