Scott Powerline Adds Track-Mounted Aerial to Rental Fleet

March 2, 2009 – Scott Powerline & Utility Equipment, Monroe, La., has introduced the Terex TM 125 Hi-Ranger insulated aerial lift mounted on a PowerTraxx 18-H hydrostatically driven track vehicle to its rental fleet. According to Tom Scott Jr., founder and president of Scott Powerline, the track-mounted aerial is the first and only one of its kind.

 

The TM 125 Hi-Ranger non-overcenter material-handling aerial provides a platform height of 120 feet and a 52-foot side reach. Standard equipment includes a hydraulic platform leveling system, four-function single stick, hydraulic platform tilt at upper controls, variable volume hydraulic system, continuous unrestricted rotation, and a host of other key standard and optional features.

 

The PowerTraxx 18-H vehicle is one of the largest units in the industry. On the TM 125 Hi-Ranger, the 18H features a payload capacity of more than 44,000 pounds and a specially designed cab with ROPS to 100,000 pounds. The 18-H is powered by a 350-hp engine and moves on 44-inch wide D-dent tracks.
